The Operations division is responsible for providing daily emergency services to its district citizens.  Other important duties include assisting in fire prevention through annual business inspections and visits to schools to promote fire safety.

The District employs 33 professional firefighters that cover three shifts and staff three stations at all times.  Each shift works a modified-Kelly schedule which consists of alternating 24 hour long shifts.  A captain and lieutenant oversee each shift and are responsible for daily operations.  Minimum daily apparatus staffing is set at two BLS engines and two paramedic ambulances.  The District is also supplemented by a reserve firefighter program.
